Votes, Bits & Bytes
From Harvard Law School-Berkman Center
On Dec 9-11, the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard Law School held its 2004 Internet & Society Conference, to discuss the issues surrounding technology and politics.
Are information and communication technologies transforming politics? The purpose of this conference is to take a hard, skeptical, results-oriented look at the election in 2004 as well as the many issue-based campaigns, emerging business models, and new technologies that affect and comprise “politics” online and off. Key topics include:  electoral politics; issue campaigns, including NGOs and labor organizing; business; and international development.
