The current federal surface transportation bill, SAFETEA-LU, expires in September 2009. This is a critical moment for the United States.This event explores the status of the next bill, the potential for new sources of financing our transportation infrastructure, and the ways in which we may want to – and need to – link transportation to broader policy goals and legislation in energy, health, and the environment.
